Where is your shop located?

We are located right outside Cincinnati, Ohio, USA!

What are your work hours?

Monday to Friday, 9am - 5pm EST. During convention season, we may work weekends or take off weekdays.

When do you ship out packages?

Packages are typically shipped out 1 to 3 days after placing your order. We normally pack orders Monday, Wednesday, & Friday.

How long does shipping take?

Orders are handled by USPS. The following times are not guaranteed, but estimations. Check your package tracking for a more accurate number. 

  • US: 2-8 days

  • Canada: 1-3 weeks

  • Everywhere else: 1-4 weeks

Do your packages have tracking?

All packages offer tracking, unless shipped in an envelope. Only stickers can be shipped via envelope, and you can select your ideal shipping method at checkout.

What is your current status on shipping to the UK? Why don’t you ship to Germany?

At this time, this store cannot accept orders to the UK. Currently, orders to Germany cannot be accepted on any of our shops due to current shipping laws.

However, Etsy can collect / remit VAT. If you are a UK customer, please purchase from our Etsy here. If you would like to purchase something currently not listed on our Etsy, please reach out via Etsy DM and we can create a custom order for you!

What health precautions do you take when packing orders?

Packages are fulfilled in a clean environment by healthy individuals, with sanitary equipment (if necessary). If you are concerned about COVID or other harmful particles when handling your package, open it with gloves, and wash any apparel before wearing!

Do I have to be worried about allergies?

Packages are packed in an animal-free environment. However, we cannot guarantee animal fur, dust & other allergens will not get on merchandise. By purchasing from MOTEL777, you are confirming that you are okay with this risk.

If you have allergies, we recommend washing any apparel before wearing, & handle the merchandise with gloves if necessary.

What is your shipping/return policy?

Unless the product arrives damaged, everything (except apparel) is final sale.

We offer exchanges for apparel if you would like a different size, but the buyer will be responsible for shipping fees. We highly recommend carefully checking apparel size charts (located on product pages) to make sure you get the proper fit!

If your package arrives with missing products, or items different from what you purchased, we will ship you the correct items free of charge!

What is your pre-order policy?

All dates listed for product arrival & shipment are educated estimates, based on previous experiences with our manufacturers. Delays are possible, and all updates will be provided via shop listing or our social media.

If you order regular sale items with preorder items, your package will ship after the preorder items arrive. If you would like to receive regular sale items based on our normal shipping times, order these items separately!

You can request a refund at any time before the product is shipped to you. Reach out to hello@motel777.xyz if you would like a refund on preorder items.

My package is delayed/missing/arrived damaged!

Before messaging us, please keep in mind that USPS is responsible for your package. Once your order leaves our hands, we have no control over it. There is very little we can do on locating your package on our end, the buyer has more power in this situation. It is recommended that you first contact USPS for a missing/delayed delivery.

Sometimes, USPS prematurely marks packages as delivered before they actually arrive to you. Please give your package 1-3 more days to show up after being marked as "shipped". If you still do not have it, make sure to check around your property, if a family member picked it up, or if it was delivered to a neighbor. 

We typically do not offer full refunds for issues that the post office is responsible for.

Product Care & FAQ

Where are your apparel sizing charts?

All size charts are located on the product pages. They can be found under the product photos, or in the product photo slideshow.

How do you wash your apparel?

All of our apparel is machine washable. To improve the longevity of the print, it is recommended to wash on cold inside out & hang dry (though not necessary).

What do you print your apparel with?

Most apparel is silkscreen printed with plastisol ink. Occasionally, we use water-based ink & embroidery.

What apparel blanks do you print on?

The blanks used for each apparel item is listed in their respective product comments! If none are listed, they are custom-made.

How do you care for your hand-dyed apparel?

Apparel indicated as hand-dyed are created in small batches by myself, so each item will have a slightly different dye pattern - keep this in mind before ordering, as the product photo only provides an estimated result! For the first wash, it is recommended to wash the apparel separately from other garments in case of remaining bleach/dye particles. After 1 or 2 washes, follow regular washing protocol.

My acrylic keychain looks scratched!

Most acrylic products have a protective plastic covering one or both sides. Once peeled, the acrylic will appear much clearer & have no scratches. It can be a bit tricky at times to get a hold of it, so don't give up on getting it off! These are left on during the shipping process so that they arrive to customers in the highest quality possible.

How do you apply your iron-on patches?

To apply the patch, place it on your desired fabric and cover the top of the patch with a thin cloth material (to protect the embroidery). Iron on, pressing down firmly, for about 60 seconds. You may flip over the fabric and iron the other side if desired. If you prefer, they can also be sewn on! It is easiest to sew around their merrow borders, as there is no adhesive underneath.

How do you wash your hats?

For small patches, it is best to spot clean. For larger soil, you can soak your hats in a mixture of cool/warm water & detergent. Let soak for about 15 minutes, rinse, re-shape, & let drip dry. The areas that touch your head can also be disinfected with isopropyl alcohol.

How do you wash your lanyards?

To clean a lanyard, gently hand-wash with cold water. You may use a light amount of detergent or dish soap.

I smudged my risograph print!

No need to worry! Risograph printing uses an ink that can be smudged if rubbed, which can be fixed by gently rubbing out the smudge with an eraser.

Where can you use your stickers?

All of our stickers are printed on a high quality, weatherproof, scratch-proof vinyl. They can be used on any surface they can adhere to, including: water bottles, phones, cases, & cars.

Where are your products made?

It is important to us that our products are ethically-sourced & produced as locally as possible to minimize carbon emissions. Some of our products are hand-printed, some are locally / US printed, and those that cannot be made in the US are made overseas. Hand-printed items are labeled as such in the product comments!

Some prints, apparel, wall decor, & tie dyeing are made by hand in Cincinnati, OH.

Risograph prints are printed in Cincinnati, OH & Milwaukee, WI.

Apparel, bags, & screenprinted goods are printed in Cincinnati, OH.

Stickers are printed in Las Vegas, NV & Annapolis, MD.

Aluminum signs are made in Birmingham, AL.

Patches & embroidered keychains are made in Taiwan.

Enamel pins, acrylic keychains, lanyards & hats are made in China.
